BlackHills specialise in natural coloured dye free 100% wool and we design our garments to work with our yarn.

BlackHills Big Bag is knitted in our Aran weight natural coloured, dye free 100% wool, and is then put in a washing machine and becomes felt or boiled wool. You don't need a very hot wash but do need something for agitation. The fabric becomes quite thick and makes a very substantial bag. For extra security you can sew on a magnetic clasp inside the rim of the bag.

Approximate size after felting: Width edge to edge 42cm; Height of bag to base 25cm; Length of flap (stretched) 15cm.

You will need to be an intermediate knitter and know how to knit in the round.
